Bio

I am founder of the Metaverse Economics, an economics blog dedicated to the understanding of the Metaverse.

I am concurrently an Assistant Professor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at The Business School, Worcester Polytechnic Institute.   I am also affiliated with the Interactive Media and Game Design program. Most of my research work center around applying data science and econometric methods towards solving current business and management related problems in the Digital Economy.  My expertise extends especially to domains in the Metaverse, Electronic Sports (e-Sports), Sports Analytics and the Digital Economy.

Prior to this, I had spent time as faculty in University College London’s School of Management, and University of California – San Francisco. Even further back, I spent time in the venture capital and government sectors. I received a PhD in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Outside of work, I love to play computer games especially DOTA 2 where I also have built an advisory service around for professional teams and organizations  interested in e-Sports, and Sports analytics in general.
